Bali: Bingin, Padang Padang, Dreamland e Nusa Dua

Dopo aver lasciato la disgrazia di Kuta il mio viaggio mi porta verso Bingin, spiaggia inesistente durante l'alta marea , ma mecca di surfisti esperti…il posto e' favoloso, qualche casa sparsa poi guesthouse con giardini rigogliosi e piscina interna. Ho alloggiato da Leggie una guesthouse meravigliosa: pulita, bella, con un ottimo ristorante e bellissimi bungalow Balinese-style. Un Paradiso di tranquillità', galli, gatti, cani, scimmie e una miriade di pennuti e insetti vari.

Per raggiungere qualsiasi spiaggia ci sono un'infinita' di scalini con viste mozzafiato….i surfisti arrivano con le loro tavole e così' inizia la discesa. Una volta arrivati al fondo Bingin e' una lingua di sabbia tra le rocce che si immergono nel mare. L'acqua sembra essere turchese, purtroppo il brutto tempo non aiuta a capire esattamente i colori. Carina , tranquilla, a picco sul mare ci sono bungalow, un baretto e un surf shop.

Per arrivare a Padang Padang da Bingin bisogna camminare una mezz'ora ( oppure affittare un motorino, assai consigliato per andare ovunque). La spiaggia si può' vedere dalla strada principale alt scalini che scendono in mezzo ad una fessura tra due rocce a strapiombo. La spiaggia e ' piccolina, ma l'acqua e' pulita e cristallina. Durante la bassa marea la spiaggia si ingrandisce e si può' notare quanto la marea abbia "mangiato le rocce. Bella, la compagnia sono qualche surfista e qualche famigliola.

Dreamland e' la spiaggia (veramente sono 3 divise da rocce a strapiombo) verso Ulu Watu, sabbia dorata, molto più' turistica con alcuni ecomostri che rovinano la bellezza della natura balinese. L'acqua ha colori fantastici, ma non e' pulita, purtroppo in questi giorni di pioggia le correnti portano la monnezza di Kuta verso questa parte dell'isola. Buon posto per rilassarsi.

Nusa Dua. Magnifica…una lingua di spiaggia bianca, onde perfette per il surf…pulita…unico neo: qui sono piazzati tutti i più' grandi e cari resort di Bali dal Club Med all'Hyatt resort quindi e' impossibile soggiornarvi a meno che non si sia disposti a pagare 220 dollari a notte per la camera e il resort più' economici………da Bingin bisogna affittare un motorino oppure un trasporto locale. Devo dire che in questi 2 gg mi sono riposata, ho letto, ho nuotato. Purtroppo la nuvoletta di Fantozzi mi perseguita: sole/pioggia/sole/diluvio universale.

Oggi c'e' il sole e mi sposto a Sanur nel sud est dell'isola da li' prenderò' poi il traghetto per Nusa Lembongan isoletta dove chiunque i dice che le immersioni sono veramente spettacolari. Speriamo.

After leaving the disgrace of Kuta I head to Bingin, almost not existing  beach during high tide, but paradise for expert surfers….the place is amazing: up on a cliff it is between many of the most beautiful beaches in Bali. Few houses , few guesthouses all with their private gardens and swimming pool. I have stayed In Leggies a fantastic place: clean, nice, nice restaurant, beautiful bungalows a real gem. A paradise of tranquility. Here only surfers or surfers couples, chickens, cats, dogs, monkeys and myriads of unknown insects and birds.

IN order to get to any of the beaches or surfing spots there are many stepd to go with breathtaking views….Surfers arrive here without heir boards and the downhill starts. Once arrived on Bingin beach you discover it is s nice tongue of sand between rocks and crystal water (Or it seems so let's say the bad weather did not really help…. Nice, quiet few bungalows on the cliff right on the sea, a bar a surf shop..

To arrive in Padang Padang ( another surfers' beach) it is needed an half an hour walk ( or rent a motoped -highly recommended to go around the island anyway). The beach can be viewed from the main road, it si small but really nice with turquoise water and nice waves.m To reach it more steps between 2 high rock walls. VEry narrow , but spectacular. During low tide the beach became larger and You can clearly see where the water eroded the fiord-like cliffs. The company was a few surfers and few families

Dreamland is the beach ( actually there are 3 divided by fiord-like cliffs) is the beach near Ulu Watu. Golden sand, much more tourists than the other 2 beaches with a couple of Ecomonster that ruins the landscape. Water has amazing turquoise colours, but it is not very clean at least not in these days when rainfalls bring the rubbish from Kuta to here.. Nice place to relax.

Nusa Dua: fantastic….white sand beach, clean, perfect waves, crystal clear water…only problem: it is the site of the most expensive and big resorts of all Bali: Club Med, Hyatt resort…..so unless you are willing to pay 220 dollars a night in the cheapest resort then You cannot spend the night here….from Bingin you need to rent a motoped or asking for a transport where you are staying. I have to say that in these 2 days I totally relaxed, read, swam. Unluckily the weather is not the best ..it seems I have a personal cloud following me" sun/rain/sun/super rain

Today is sunny ( or at least mostly) and I will transfer to Sanur on the South Est coast. From there I will take the ferry to Nusa Lembongan a little island where everybody keep telling me the dives are amazing. Hopefully.
