Eccoci di nuovo...
l'organizzazione.....PANICO! Dopo l'estrema difficolta' nel prendere una decisione come quella che ho preso, (ovvero mollare tutto, un lavoro-massacrante-, una citta' favolosa come Shanghai, un paese che cmq con le sue contraddizioni mi e' sempre piaciuto) ho dovuto affrontare anche l'organizzazione, la scelta dell'itinerario, voli, visti, le tempistiche, gli spostamenti, i pernottamenti. Da qui il nome del blog: BOH?!?!
Durante le vacanze di Natale Angela  e Mario mi hanno chiesto entusiasti se avessi deciso luoghi, come avrei fatto per i visti, per i voli.....risposta in loop: BOH?!?!
Alla fine una volta tornata in Cina mi sono data da fare. La difficolta' nello scegliere dove andare e quando devo dire e' stata immensa. Sono troppi i paesi che mi piacerebbe visitare, troppe le culture che ancora non conosco e che mi incuriosiscono, quindi ho dovuto tagliare parte del viaggio ( Indonesia) per motivi contingenti quali: difficolta' con i voli, con i soggiorni e poi l'incombere della stagione dei Monsoni.
Quando si decide il viaggio della vita, di norma si ha una vaga idea dei luoghi da visitare, ma si ha gia' un'idea abbastanza certa delle tempistiche.

il sito e' fatto veramente bene, si puo' anche avere un'idea di quanto il viaggio potrebbe costare utilizzando l'applicazione online che ti permette di creare il tuo viaggio e avere la quotazione immediata!
Gli operator sono molto gentili e ti danno un sacco di consigli. Per poter sveltire le decisioni e confermare i voli ( date e orari) e' meglio prendere un appuntamento telefonico (la chiamata e' a SAN FRANCISCO), io ne sono rimasta felicissima, non solo ho speso meno meno di un terzo di quello che mi ero immaginata, ma Sarah ( l'operatrice dedicata al mio viaggio) mi ha saputo dare consigli utilissimi per quanto riguardava gli spostamenti piu' difficili). Ovvio bisogna anche considerare che parte del viaggio verra' fatta via terra o via mare (dopo tutto un paese lo si vuole vivere quando si ha il tempo dalla propria parte).
Il metodo di pagamento e' sicuro e non date retta al sito che dice che per avere i biglietti ci vogliono 4/5 settimane. Io il giorno dopo il pagamento avevo gia' tutti i biglietti elettronici nella mia casella!!!
Per quanto riguarda invece i visti beh internet e' un pozzo di informazioni e per fortuna essendo italiana, nessuno dei paesi da me scelti richiede un visto prima di entrare nel paese stesso. La maggior parte dei paesi rilasciano un visto all'aeroporto di diversa durata ( dipende dal paese) e io ho cercato di organizzare il mio viaggio basandomi sulle tempistiche dei visti cosi' da non incorrere in spese aggiuntive.
I pernottamenti sono tutta un'altra storia. Dipende dalla natura di ognuno: puoi organizzare tutto in anticipo oppure puoi decidere dove pernottare una volta arrivato in un posto e dopo aver dato un'occhiata in giro.
Uhmmmm, io ho scelto la via di mezzo. Ho scandagliato il web via www.tripadvisor.com, ho letto le Lonely Planet dei paesi che andro' a visitare, ho cercato su www.hostelworld.com e http://www.aroundtheworldtours.com/it/ita/. Ho prenotato le prime notti in tutti i paesi che visitero' poi in realta' una volta arrivata li' decidero' sul da farsi..cosa visitare, quando, dove dormire.
Penso che questo sia il bello di questo genere di esperienza: l'incertezza. La possibilita' di poter rispondere a qualsiasi domanda con un BOH?!?!??

Here we are again.
THe organization: PANIC! After the difficulty of taking a decision as the one I took ( leaving behind everything, a job -tiring-, a wonderful city as Shanghai, a Country that with all its controversy I always liked) I needed to deal with the organization of the trip itself, the itinerary, the flights, the visas, the timing, the transports, the B&B. From all this questions the name of the blog: BOH?!?!
During Xmas holidays Angela and Mario asked me enthusiastically if I had decided where to go, how should I do with the visas, how about the flight, only one loop answer: BOH?!?!
So once back in China I started to look around.I have to say that choosing where to go and for how long it as been a great challenge. There are too many Countries I would love to visit and too many cultures I still do not know and that really interest me. I needed to cut part of my trip (Indonesia) for different reasons: difficulties with the flights, the B&B and the Monsoon season approaching.
When somebody decides the trip of this life normally has a vague idea of the places to visit, but he has a pretty clear idea of the schedule.

the website is really well done, you can even calculate how much your trip could cost using the app online that let you plan your trip and have an immediate quotation! The operator are nice and they give you many tips. IN order to make the planning quicker (dates and departure time) it is better to book a phone appointment (the call is to SAN FRANCISCO) I have been very very satisfied abt the service, not only I spent less than a third of what I had imagined, but Sarah ( the tour operator dedicated to my trip) gave me very valuable tips on the most difficult transfers. Obviously it must be taken into consideration that part of the transfers will be by land and by sea ( you want to discover a country properly when you have the time on your side!).
Payment method is secure and do not trust the website when it says that they need 4/5 weeks for sending you the tickets. The day after my payment I had all the tickets in my email box!
For the visas, well internet is a world of information and luckily being Italian all the Countries I have chosen so far do not require a visa before you get in there. Most of the Countries release a visa at the airport with different duration so I have tried to organize my trip following the visa duration so to not spend extra money on visas. The B&B are a different story. It depends on every human different nature: You can book everything in advance or you can decide where to stay after your arrival and after snooping around. Uhmmm I have chosen the middle way. I have searched on the web via www.tripadvisor.com, reading the Lonely Planet of each Country I will visit and consulting www.hostelworld.com as same as http://www.aroundtheworldtours.com/it/ita/. I have booked only the first night in the Country I will visit then after my arrival I will decide what to do next: what to visit, when, where to stay. I think this is the real beauty of this kind of experience: uncertainty. The possibility of answering any question with a : BOH?!?!
