PATMOS: la tenda. /the tent.

Finalmente in Tenda!!!!!! AH AHA H mi sono fatta delle grasse risate mentre la montavo…guardavo i disegnino e pensavo, boh?!?!?! NO tranquilli ci ho messo 10 minuti, ma mi sono proprio divertita. La mutter mi ha comperato una reggia ( vedere foto per credere) . Bella, comoda, insomma una figata. Pura libertà'. L'importante e' tenerla pulita. Il campeggio di Patmos e; carinissimo, pulito, la famiglia che lo gestisce molto carina e il ristorante ha del buon cibo anche se, da vero campeggiatore, mi sono organizzata con fornello……..eh sinora con fornello e moca sono a posto!!! Caffe' per sempre! Il campeggio e; situato sulla spiaggia di Meloi, spiaggia carina con parecchia ombra, acqua al solito pulissimo, misto tra ghiaia e sabbia nera. Per andare alla capitale bisogna camminare per un paio di Km, un spiacevole passeggiata, uno scollinamento e quando ei in cima TA_DA! Il porto di fronte  a te! Molto suggestivo!. Altra visita assolutamente immancabile e' quella alla cittadina di Hora che ospita un Monastero dell'XI secolo. Da Skala ( la capitale) ci si impiega circa 45 minuti percorrendo l'antica via bizantina…attenzione e' una scalata dato che il monastero e' su un bricco quindi evitate le ore più' calde. Il paesaggio e da favola, si uo' vedere praticamente tutta l'isola una meraviglia! Il monastero e' aperto al pubblico la mattina e ha un museo con i tesori del monastero stesso tra icone bizantine e manoscritti. Che dire Patmos e; proprio carina , ma domani a mezzanotte si prende un'altro targhette  via per nuovi lidi: Syros, le Cicladi. Anche li' ovvio campeggio (ormai non lo lascio più'!). Adoro la Grecia, più' esploro e più' mi piace. Ho trovato un certo ritmo da queste parti: nuoto la mattina , poi verso il tardo pomeriggio camminata o corsa (dipende dal giorno) e poi una puntatina a IL POSTO, un piccolo baretto internet poni dove c'e' il wi-fi se consumi un coffe frappe' oppure una bevanda, la ragazza che lo gestisce Helena e' veramente simpatica  e parla anche un pochino di italiano. Mi piace questa routine.

Finally in a tent!!! AH AH AH I laugh sooo much put it all together! I was watching  the small drawings on the case and I was going BOH?!?! NO worries it took me 10 minuted , but I laugh sooooo much!!! MUtter bought me a castle, it is soooo spacious! CAn't believe it! Nice, clean, cozy I love it! Freedom. Of course the important thing is to keep it clean. Patmos camping ( called Stefano's) is very nice, clean and on the best beach of Patmos in Meloi. The beach has shadow and it is a mix of sand and stones., the camping has a great restaurant with great food , but, of course, me being  camping champ I have my own little stove……now who is the best? Moka and a stove. I am settled. From the camping to go to the capital of Patmos You have to walk for 2 km , basically you are waking through a hill and from the top you have this amazing view of all the harbor. Another must see is the little village of Hora where a BIzantium Monastery from the XI century is located. From Skala ( the capital city) it takes bat 45 minutes walking an old Bizantium stone paved road. Watch out the walk is basically a hike to the top of the hill where the Monastery is, so avoid the hottest hours! The hike is soooo worth it! Fromt eh road Youc an see the whole island and it is breathtaking! The monastery is open to the public and it has a little Museum filled with Orthodox icons and manuscripts. Patmos is nice, but tomorrow is time to go , time to catch a ferry fto another island: Syros, Cyclades. NAturally over there I am gong to stay in the Camping ( now that I have started I will never travel differently!). I must say i love Greece, the more I go around, the more I love it. I found kind of a routine over here: in the morning I swim, late afternoon I take a walk or a run and I stop in a very nice Cafe' internet point called IL POSTO , where the owner Helena is a very nice Greek girl that speaks a bit of Italian. I love my routine!
