It is more than a month that I live in Cartagena de Indias in Colombia. I came here to visit my father and to study to become a Diving Instructor. I am almost done with all the exams of the Dive Master Course and the Instructor Exam will be on December 10/11 and then who knows. Colombia it is avery strange place or at least I imagine it very different. In so many ways it reminds me of China that for who really knows me it is not surprise, it does not make me very enthusiastic. But it is a LAtin country, and the people are great, they are so Mediterranean, here everything is chaotic, and that is what it makes it so appealing. The beauty of hosting so many different cultures the beauty of being so different , but at the same time so similar to Europe, the beauty of living one day at the time, living slowly, with pereca as they call it. My days are running nicely: I wake up very early, I run, I study, I dive, I cook. My instructor (Fernando) is a great guy and he became a good friend ( probably coz we spend so much time together) And so is the couple that run the Diving Centre and Daniel the other Instructor.
